Once you have made your selection, download the CD image. The CD image comes with .iso file extension. Once you have downloaded, don't forget to compare its md5sum with the one mentioned above; this is to make sure the download is not corrupt.

Burn & Use
Burn the downloaded CD image onto a CD (see below for burning help). After that, reboot your PC and set it to boot from CD. Viola! You have got a fully working Granular system up. Granular comes as a livecd, so there is no need of installation to try it.

NOTE: Granular 1.0 requires at least 3GB of harddisk space for installation.
Points to consider before downloading:
- By downloading directly (through http or ftp), you may suffer from slow speeds.
- Team Granular recommends you opt for downloading via torrent. Downloading through torrents is very easy. .torrent files can be opened in one of the many popular bittorrent clients, like Azureus, uTorrent, KTorrent, BitComet, etc.
- To download simultaneously from all the available download mirrors, use the metalink.
