I tried installing Metisse packages from synaptic , the packages are available but when i tried to install via synaptic it gives an error

metisse:
 Depends: metisse-fvwm
 Depends: nucleo
 Depends: libnucleo0

same kind of problem exists on PCLinuxOS . these depedencies are needed by metisse but there are neither PCLinuxos nor Granular packages for these dependencies.

Reading Metisse home page there is a mention of how to build these dependencies but it is tricky job to be done by a home user

http://insitu.lri.fr/metisse/docs/building.html

Would Granular team like to make and upload these dependencies at the granular own repository so we can easily install metisse?

Thanks.

We will look into it in the near future, and add it to the list so it's not forgotten. But for now, we are gonna have to focus on our next release. ;)

Chrisz,

Hope you have not forgotton the Metisse packages for our impending RC1 :)

Nope have not forgotten, and I tried to install it myself, and could not get it to install either. So I'll look at them more than likely after the first RC release. I should be able to catch a break right after it's released. It's not that big of a package if I remember right, so it's just a matter of getting a little bit of free time.
