Sometimes the tug of war between various OS systems is humorous to watch..sometimes its a bit sad..but mostly, like reading the guff on a cornflakes box, while eating breakfast...its harmless fluff..

Then you get the occasional joust between the Big players, that makes life really entertaining...(these are the times when I pull up my deck chair, crack a beer and watch events unfold)...

So, if your like me, you sit back expecting the opponents to be evenly matched; physically and intellectually in their prime...the top of the tree...so to speak...

So imagine how you must feel, after you paid for your ringside tickets only to witness a lopsided match, with two nitwits slugging it out for what turns out to be the..

Idiot of the Year Title Match...

And so it is with McBride of SCO...

Who jumped into the boxing ring with this statement...

"Linux is a copy of UNIX, there is no difference [between them]."

This was his sucker punch...

Seriously...How much is he paid...

Calling Linux a copy of Unix is true in the same sense that a Porche is a copy of a model T Ford...or that a Boeing 747 is a copy of the Kittyhawk...

I wonder if he is Punch-Drunk, or has drunk too much Punch...

Either way...the guy has lost the plot...

Yeah it seems that he has finally cracked, and completely flipped his lid. The man is completely insane, and
there is no chance he will ever be able to find his way back to reality. And I think you're right, in that it appears
he does the worst damage to himself, out of anyone else in existence.

Next he will want to sue himself personally for harassment or something.

Yup, I have similar feelings. It seems since the SCO guys lost their case against the Linux community, they have lost their minds.

Linux is a copy of UNIX??? I still cannot digest it... 

 Geesh... wonder why they have not tried to sue just on the name alone... Linux, is basically Unix with the U & I switched around and an L added
