I installed some grl packages(actioncube, assaultcube, lightzone and estov-patch2). At the end of every installation KDialog displays notice: "The application package has been installed. To start using it, go to Menu > Other" But  there is nothing in all Menu and I can't find whatever grl application anywhere. Simply no links are in all Menu and if I use to search in Krusader the result is none in all partition. So that I'm asking for an advice, please.  ???

Did you install the GRLs while logged in as root? If you did not, then first remove all the installed GRLs, one-by-one, by using the granular -r command as the root user. Then log in as root using the GUI method (if you didn't do this in the previous step) and install them one at a time. Say, you install ActionCube first. After its installation, wait for a few seconds for its entry to appear in Menu > Other. It it does not appear automatically, then log out and log back in to find it in its appropriate place (Menu > Other). Similarly install the others.

For now, you can check if all these GRLs have been installed by using these commands, respectively, for the packages installed:
actioncube
assaultcube
lightzone

Remember to be logged in as the root user to install these packages.

At the same time I was reading your advices in this topic http://granular-linux.com/forum/index.php?topic=69.0 and how I see user chin was successful under root. Thanks and excuse me for my "blind eyes" and useless question.  :)

Btw. for your info only: my nick name is not selected according a king (named Crimson) but according English group King Crimson. :)
Uninstallation (command granular -r in konsole)of grl packages "installed" under user account is not necessary because not even fragments or parts of packages were installed under user account.

All grl packages were installed without problem under root. All runs properly under user account. But I have one piece of knowledege concerning to LightZone launching. I had had to launch it once under root and only than LightZone was able to start under user account too.

Thanks for reporting. The LightZone problem has to be LightZone specific and not GRL specific.
