RESOLVED Live CD bootup problem (locked progressbar)

Hi:
IBM Thinkpad R31
In term mode (visual feedback of boot) can be seen that when scsi is being probed the system locks up.

To overcome, press F3 and type in boot options line noscsi
I've found the partition manager to be non-user friendly when theres not much space left on partitioned drive, but apart from that, this OS is one of my preferred Linux.
