While packaging some KDE4 RPMs today, I noticed that one of the packages produced were libkholidays4. The name sounded funny; what did it do, I thought? Provide holidays from work to the user? One some search, I found out that what it actually does was also very interesting. It lets some KDE4 programs determine the holidays in the calendar of various geographical locations. ::)

 That seems pretty cool.
 It can be useful for people who work with others around the globe, as well as those who are interested in different cultures.
